I'm back!!!!

After so many years abandoning my blog with lots of lame excuses, miss out every precious things in my life to jot down here as a piece full of memories to read back when I getting old enough to loss my memory.I think,I should come back again in the bloggersphere! At first, let me simply joining back the broken string,so I can still remember that as it today,I'm still with my hubby and 3 kiddos.Hubby still as busy as usual leaving a very lonely wife. My eldest son is 5 years old,no 2 is going to 3 and my princess is 18 months. We have finally getting a house in Penang as all my kiddos will study in Penang. The house in mainland remain unsaleable and treat it as weekend house but we hardly make it as well. Let's make short,i'm still the same old me with a desperately housewife look but don't get me wrong with the one in TV's show.I'm typically "silai"look! However,I still love to make myself looking pretty when I have the mood but mostly not as I really lazy with those ladies "work". So it's true that, no ugly ladies in the world except the lazy one. I must start to work hard on my bulky tummy and consistent with my diet plan! Wish me luck!

My 1st Long Absence Post

Wow, it has been so long that I don’t update my blog! It’s like a waste setting up a blog but never maintain it. I know I’m lazy and always give out plenty of excuses but sometimes I really have no time to sit down in front of my notebook although I still blog hopping everyday.(hahahaha! see, that’s what I’m!!!) Perhaps, I’m lazy to write.

I went through a lot of up & down since beginning of the year. Luckily, I have both my big & small darling to accompany me going through the period. Although I may be emotional at times, however I try to looking forward in positive way. Life still goes on, right? (that’s how I told myself every time I was sad)

Ya, my small darling really grown up a lot! But one thing makes me worry of his speech development. He still dunno how to talk even a simple word like papa or mama. He gets all we mean and give response to our request very well. The words that he said still very limited like, Bob, ball, chair, “mai” (don’t want). See, very limited rite? However, he is way too cheeky & even naughty at times. Edward is still taking porridge twice a day with a bowl of soup each time. (Taking porridge with a bowl of soup, funny rite?) Now, he likes to watch Bob the Builder very much & forget the Barney who had accompanied him for more than a year. However, I still swap in Barney once in while as I feel Barney really teach him a lot. I let him join the parent-toddler class at The Learning Garden since April of this year. Although, it’s still early to tell whether he learns anything there but from what I can see is he loves to go to school every Saturday. Edward is very fond with his paternal grandpa even they only meet one another once a week. Ah gong let him ride on the motor bike whenever only both of them go shopping. Nowadays, he is very good in tempting everybody’s heart. He will give you a hug and a kiss whenever he done anything wrong so that his maternal grandma & kor poh will forgive him easily. This even works on mummy and daddy too, although daddy always complaining that we spoil his son. (hahahaha!) I have found that daddy love to smell and kiss his little darling every time daddy wanna sleep as this cheeky boy normally slept before daddy’s back. I’m kind of jealous, u knows? (hahaha, just kidding!) Edward really manage to melt my heart with his every single act, such as bringing my shoe from the shoe rack to me whenever we wanna go out, open the door for me whenever I’m back from work or willing to share his favourite food with only me and not others. He’s diaperless in day time as he knows to inform us that either he’s poo or pee. This little cheeky boy is very good in instructing people to do things for him especially helping him to clean up his toys after each play session. However, we started to teach him to clean up the toys by himself although we still help him. To make him work on it, we must sing the Clean Up song. He don’t sleep in the morning anymore and only willing to take his nap after lunch and play for awhile which is normally pass 2pm already. But, its good too as he manage to nap for 2 to 3 hours and my mom can watch her hokkien drama in peace without any shouting or chasing. Toddler at his age is very active!Ya, I started the Glenn Dorman program with Edward since May but he shows no interest at all by looking here and there. However, he loves those books with picture very much and he can absorb very well. It’s very hard to read story books with him as he likes to grab the book from me each time I tries to flip with him. He won’t sit still to listen to the story but running here and there. I really have no idea how to make him fall in love with books. It’s a challenging task for me! Edward is very gentle towards his baby cousin but he’ll jealous if mummy is carrying his cousin. (oh, so sweet of him!)

As for the big darling, he’s forever the busy bee. He has pile up with a lot of work everyday and only come back after his son has slept. (you get me of what’s the time already) Sometimes, his son misses him so much and same goes to me. What to do? Daddy is currently expanding his business. Daddy always assures us that whatever he does now is for the best of our future. We really hope daddy manage to spend more time with us as weekend alone is not enough. Furthermore, daddy still working and playing badminton on weekend too. According to daddy, playing badminton is a kind of business entertainment wor. That's why mommy always complains about this often. How I wish weekend is mainly our family day! I hope daddy get me if he’s reading about this post but the chances must be very slim as daddy always saying that he has no time to read at all.(see, this really discourage me to write more often as no readers mar!) Daddy is very soon to move into the new shop lot wholly owned by us. Ya, we bought it beginning of the year but only finish renovated recently. I wish daddy best of luck in his business! Daddy has been working very hard since the day we have been together. He told me before that I’m the one who make him so motivated to work and work and work. Now, he has to work even twice as before as the economy really hit us a lot. That’s why I have to be understanding of his absence in our daily activities. I think his son is use to it too! However, daddy will tries his best to accompany us when he’s free.

About me, I never change except the size of my body has been double up. Yet, I’m still eating non stop and hardly control of my diet. I have set up another blog about cooking for my lil prince and my family but yet to start with one post. I think I really need to kick away my laziness as soon as I can. (I hope to!) Hubby bought me a new mixer and I’m very much into baking nowadays. I love to bake bread and cake so much and share it with friends and relatives. Besides, I love cooking too. I have a very huge collection of bento tools but seldom use it as my son is still so small to appreciate it. However, I will only do it once a week when he’s having his parent-toddler class. Anyway, it’s a very simple bento with either fruits and bread cut into cute shape or bake cup cake and decorated with cute picks in fancy lunch box. However, it never stop me from purchase more and more bento tools.(that’s me, a shopaholic mummy!) I’m currently busy making traditional moon cake and the jelly moon cake. However, hubby still very much in love with cheese cake that I made. Ya, I’m still working at the same old place with all the boring works. I’m not complaining, but it’s true! Hubby always wishes that I can help him in his office but I prefer not to as I don’t want end up in argument one day. Actually, I’m waiting for a right time to set up my own business. I’m supposed to do it earlier if not because of the world economy crisis. I don’t dare to take up any risk right now as i don't want to spend my money with no return. Beside, I have one wish yet to fulfill. I wish God answer my prayer in one day! Now, I’m very busy with our new house renovation. A lot of things to be discussed with the ID before really start on it. That means we have to spend a lot of money on renovation work beside furnishing and electrical appliances. I really hope to move into it before November so there will be double celebration of house warming cum my small darling B day.

Wow, this must be the lengthiest post that I ever wrote! I better stop here so I still have the kick to write it next round. I wish whoever reading this post Happy Weekend!

Pank Pank Pank!!!!!!

Edward never likes to play with the gun that hubby bought him months ago. The most that he’ll only carries it for a while & throws it on the floor. But to my surprise when my mom told me that Edward play with the gun which has abundant aside for so long by pressing the gear to make the shooting sound. My mom even told me that he’ll raise his hand to show the sign of “stop” after he stops pressing the gear. When his gun making the shooting sound, he said ”Pank! Pank! Pank!” Wah……….he has really grown up a lot! He knows the shooting sound should be “pank”. I’m so happy with this little achievement as I seldom teach him with books nor any flash card. The only thing that i do most is watching Barney with his during his meal time. Normally ,let him play most of the night or bring him shopping when daddy is free. (blame me on my laziness!i have wasted 17months already)=

I think this is the right time starting to teach my son, or else I’ll regret later. I told myself to spend more time with him so that he’ll love mummy more!(hahaha!)

My little reminder

I usually hug my son and exchange of kisses when I wanna back to work after lunch, then carry him along to grab my car key where I put on the table. So, this’ll never change too for today. But this little boy of mine is pointing his hand to the table to ask me to get my key when I want to walk toward the living hall. At first, I don’t get him. Then, he keeps on pointing to the table until I realize what he tries to tell me. Ya, I’ll normally get the key before walking to the living hall but he does not know that I have actually kept my key inside my bag. See, I have a little reminder to remind me! I think my son must have thought that his mummy was so forgetful.(ya, indeed I’m!)

Running marathon to get Edward asleep-2

Ya, this is the 2nd round of tucking Edward to sleep. As he keeps on looking to his cradle, I know what he wants. After a while by seeing mummy is not going to put him on the cradle, Edward started to make fuss again. At 1st, he’s only crying. Later, he started to wail out his lung and kicking here and there. I know I have to “run” again!

I successfully make Edward sleep on our bed after running for about 10minutes. Oh, I tell you its really tired and exhausted. (Ya, forget to mention that Edward doesn’t want to sleep on his pen but wanna sleep between mummy & daddy.)

***Edward, if you reading on this next time, you should know how much that mummy love you. Will you treat mummy the same when mummy is old & demanding? (hehehe!)

6oz of milk before sleep

I am so happy that Edward manages to finish 6oz of milk before his bed time. It has been really hard to feed him milk nowadays and I wonder why he doesn’t like milk? Is it because that he follows mummy footsteps? (is it true? But hubby insists that his son follow me, haha!) Like mother like son mar!

However, Edward willing to bottom ups the milk without making fuss today. I should say, this is very rare recently and I’m so happy!(I’m so worry that kids without having enough milk will not have sufficient vitamins & minerals) I’m very much concern about his daily food intake but what can I do to make him “falling in love” with milk? Is there anyone to share with me how to make my son falling in love with milk?

Airplane game with daddy

Edward has been very playful & cheeky nowadays. He loves to play those adventurous games with adult like flying on the sky, sitting on daddy’s shoulder, throw him up & down……etc. But mummy always complains of how dangerous of the games.

Today, since daddy is coming home quite early, he manages to play with his son for a while. Daddy carry Edward like an aero plane and get him running very fast towards me and this making Edward laughing for non-stop. He was so happy and demand for it when daddy is out of strength. For sure, I have to stop them. If not, it’ll never end for the whole night. Edward surely fussing around but I try to distract him by carrying him to the porch and show him the car outside. Kid still kid, they are easily happy even a simple game.
