Airplane game with daddy

Edward has been very playful & cheeky nowadays. He loves to play those adventurous games with adult like flying on the sky, sitting on daddy’s shoulder, throw him up & down……etc. But mummy always complains of how dangerous of the games.

Today, since daddy is coming home quite early, he manages to play with his son for a while. Daddy carry Edward like an aero plane and get him running very fast towards me and this making Edward laughing for non-stop. He was so happy and demand for it when daddy is out of strength. For sure, I have to stop them. If not, it’ll never end for the whole night. Edward surely fussing around but I try to distract him by carrying him to the porch and show him the car outside. Kid still kid, they are easily happy even a simple game.

After patting Edward to sleep, finally I can call it a day & quickly get myself a beauty sleep as soon as I can. Arrg……..so tired today! Furthermore, I have to work on tomorrow i.e., Saturday! I hate it!!!!!!

Without waiting for daddy coming home, I almost zzzZZZ. Not more then 10 minutes, I hear my dear calling me softly because he does not want to disturb the little cranky who just fall asleep. Geeee……..,what’s the thing that hubby call me? I’m on my way to meet my handsome price. Hubby shows me a yellow box & making a sign of “eat”. I know hubby must be buying me supper again. It’s my favourite “siu pau”! Oh, i can’t resist it! I must eat at least one even I keep on yelling for keep-fit. Hubby is the one who always make my diet plan fail. He always buys me supper whenever he went out at night.

After taking one and a half of “siu pau”, I better don’t sleep that immediately. I must let it digest 1^st. since I cannot sleep yet, what’s much more interesting than blogging ler? That’s why I’m still here to share my thoughts. hahahaha!

Daddy is beating Edward

All of us in the house love Edward so much especially my aunty who always praises my son for whatever he done, even to his wrong doing. Surely nobody in the house beat neither scold him. Maybe he’s the youngest among all & our house did not have any children other then him. He’s just like a prince in my family. Everyone love him and care for him very much!

Here's my story begins:-

Hubby back home quite early today. But we do not back to Butterworth as I have to work the next day. Edward plays around in the living hall as usual, running here & there happily. We give some toys on the tray of his walker so he can enjoy it further more. He may demand for carry at some time but anyway he behaves very well that evening.
He plays until he gets tired & sits back to his walker, so sudden he put his hand into his mouth, maybe its just a way to sooth his tiredness. My hubby noticed it & asks him to take out his hand. He looks at my hubby & continuously sucking his yummy Kentucky. My hubby call him twice but he just ignore him. He keeps on enjoying his yummy treats. Hubby immediately put away the newspaper on his hand & moves to the side of this little fella. Hubby takes out his hand & beat him but my son immediately put his hand into the mouth again when hubby let got of his hand. Surely hubby is going to beat him again and this time he wails his lung out but he did not ask for help even hubby keep on telling him that he can get comfort from mummy. To all of our surprise, he raise both his hand towards daddy while he still crying. After a while, daddy also feels pitiful of how he cries. Instead of scolding him, daddy has to console him & explain to him that it’s unhygienic of putting hand into mouth. I’m not sure Edward understand or not but he stop crying after a while & play happily again with us. Actually my heart really painful when I see him wail out his lung when daddy beats him but I know I cannot side him if he’s really wrong doing. We as a parent cannot spoilt our children even we love them so much. Now, he’s still so small to understand what we explain to him but if grows older we must explain the right & wrong to him instead of punish him. Am I right? Is anyone there to share with me the right ways of mothering?

Waiting for daddy

Daddy has been very busy from every now & then due to the current expansion of his business, therefore daddy always coming home late for dinner. My cheeky son miss him so much as he normally fell asleep before daddy’s back from work. Not to mention that I really miss hubby too! But, what to do? Daddy has to work hard to give baby & mummy a better life style. Furthermore, we have a lot of commitments too! I must be satisfied as hubby still spends time with us on weekends.

Little Edward is waiting for daddy & reluctant to sleep as usual. No matter how the ways I put him into the cradle, he still crying & twisting his body from left to right. I might be very angry over his misbehave but rethink back how pitiful that he miss his daddy so much, I try to console him by telling him that daddy will be there after he sleep. I even tell him daddy will meet him in the zzZZ land & he’ll see daddy face early tomorrow morning. I’m not sure whether he understand or not but its work! He finally fell to zzZZ land after his favourite lullabies.

Message to Daddy:
Edward & I miss you so much! Will you back earlier tomorrow? At least spend some time with him!

Looking for daddy

Edward was very clingy not only with me but my hubby too even he seldom spend time with him as my hubby was always busy with his business. I think this must be the nature of love between father and son.

Same as usual, my hubby is coming home late again tonight. It has been around 10:00pm & my son is very sleepy already by rubbing his eye for a few times. However, he still don’t want to sleep even I try to put him into his favourite cradle. He cries and cries no matter how I pat him. I really can’t get when he want until I notice him keep on looks on those clothes of my hubby which hanging behind the door. Aiyo, my little darling, u really makes mummy miserable when you cry for non-stop! Then, I carry him near to those clothes and let him touch it. I tell him that daddy is busy and daddy will not coming home yet. I assure him that once he wakes up the next morning, daddy will be there with him. I even let him get a smell of my hubby shirts. Yiak, so smelly! But, my little darling likes it so much. Maybe this make him feels that daddy is around.

After a while, I try to put him into the cradle again. This time, he really fell asleep. Maybe he was too tired after crying for a while. Hopefully daddy is there in the next morning as I have promise to him. Daddy, try to spend more time for your little darling as he misses you so much. Not only him, I miss you too!
