Running marathon to get Edward asleep-2

Ya, this is the 2nd round of tucking Edward to sleep. As he keeps on looking to his cradle, I know what he wants. After a while by seeing mummy is not going to put him on the cradle, Edward started to make fuss again. At 1st, he’s only crying. Later, he started to wail out his lung and kicking here and there. I know I have to “run” again!

I successfully make Edward sleep on our bed after running for about 10minutes. Oh, I tell you its really tired and exhausted. (Ya, forget to mention that Edward doesn’t want to sleep on his pen but wanna sleep between mummy & daddy.)

***Edward, if you reading on this next time, you should know how much that mummy love you. Will you treat mummy the same when mummy is old & demanding? (hehehe!)

6oz of milk before sleep

I am so happy that Edward manages to finish 6oz of milk before his bed time. It has been really hard to feed him milk nowadays and I wonder why he doesn’t like milk? Is it because that he follows mummy footsteps? (is it true? But hubby insists that his son follow me, haha!) Like mother like son mar!

However, Edward willing to bottom ups the milk without making fuss today. I should say, this is very rare recently and I’m so happy!(I’m so worry that kids without having enough milk will not have sufficient vitamins & minerals) I’m very much concern about his daily food intake but what can I do to make him “falling in love” with milk? Is there anyone to share with me how to make my son falling in love with milk?

Airplane game with daddy

Edward has been very playful & cheeky nowadays. He loves to play those adventurous games with adult like flying on the sky, sitting on daddy’s shoulder, throw him up & down……etc. But mummy always complains of how dangerous of the games.

Today, since daddy is coming home quite early, he manages to play with his son for a while. Daddy carry Edward like an aero plane and get him running very fast towards me and this making Edward laughing for non-stop. He was so happy and demand for it when daddy is out of strength. For sure, I have to stop them. If not, it’ll never end for the whole night. Edward surely fussing around but I try to distract him by carrying him to the porch and show him the car outside. Kid still kid, they are easily happy even a simple game.

Bunny from Salabianca

I receive a call from my mobile this afternoon when I’m busy in the office. The girl from the call told me that my bunny that they reserve for me is ready to collect. At first, I’m totally clueless as I do not buying any toys recently especially my son who doesn’t like toys that much. I told her that I do not order any toys and she answers me that it’s the free gift from Salabianca. There only I recall that Salabianca promise to give me a call when the free bunny arrives as they give away free bunny to customer. Ya, I spend a lot at Salabianca during Mothers Day.

Since it’s free, I collect the bunny from there after work. To my surprise, it’s TWO. Wow, it’s not bad too as the doll look really nice with Chinese outfit. I’m not sure whether Edward like it or not, but at least here come the toys for him without need to pay. (hahahahah)

Not to my surprise that Edward doesn’t really fancy about the bunny. He only looks for a glance when I happily pass it over to him. He shows no interest at all and gives it away to my mother who sits beside him. I think he still prefer those entire plastic containers than toys. It’s good too that I manage to safe a lot on toys as Edward show no interest at all.

Porridge for my lil Prince

Before we leave for holiday, my aunty tries to cook porridge for my son as Edward like it so much. This round, his “kor poh” cook the fish porridge with corn instead of spinach. I found that Edward like it so much too as it’s really sweet. He can finish a bowl without making fuss and even demand for it. Surely, my aunt is very happy and so am I. As a mom, what beats more happiness than your kids love to eat, rite?

Well done, Edward! Please keep on this way and mummy sure you will grow taller & bigger each day.(I’m always worry that Edward is under-tall but Dr Dan always assured me that Edward’s height is normal at his age)

Strolling in the garden

1st time ever that I let Edward has a stroll in the garden and he shows that he like it so much! I hardly get Edward for a stroll in the garden as I do not have enough time for it. As for today, I carry Edward along to wave good-bye to my friends who visiting us this evening. Since the day is not that dark, I let Edward to have a stroll in the garden. There only I realized that I can teach him a lot in the garden, such as bird, cat, dog, sky, tree & etc. it’s a good way to teach him at the same time he can enjoy the outside view rather than staying at home all the time. I wish I can do more frequently.(hopefully mommy is not that lazy anymore)

Running marathon to get Edward asleep-1

Edward seldom sleeps on bed as he loves to sleep on the cradle at most night. I think he just love the feeling of rocking. However, it’s really inconvenience for us if we are on vacation. Not to mention overseas trip but a short trip to KL would be very inconvenience too unless we are going to bring along his cradle.

Since we are going for holiday very soon, I really need to train him sleeping on his pen but I know it’s going to be a very challenging task. After feeds him with milk I try to tuck him to sleep under my arm. At first, he feels so comfortable but after a while he started to turn here and there. Edward is making fuss in the room and takes the revenge that he does not want to sleep without his favorite rocker. I try a few ways but all end up unsuccessful and finally I come out with an idea i.e. running inside the room with him under my arm. I tell you, it’s really tired and stressful as I have to run and sing him lullaby song at the same time. I bet you that I can shed a few kilos if I keep on doing this for a consecutive night. However, it’s really works! Edward falls asleep within a few minutes. I’m not sure whether he’s sleepy or could it be that he’s fainted.
I really hope that I do not need to do so tomorrow. If not, I’m the one who fainted 1st as I hate exercise most. Do you think it can consider as an exercise?

Looking back while crawling

I just wanna share of my son’s new skill over here. He loves to crawl ever since he masters the skill. However, its really tiring for those who look after him as we all have to put an eye on him everywhere he’s crawling. He’s not well balancing yet but he can show us with a lot of cheeky look by looking back while crawling and this make everyone in the family so happy and laughing for non-stop. I do not know how to tell here but it’s really cute. For those parents experience before surely get what I mean. Yes, Edward just show it to my friend when they visit us.

No nap for the whole day

Edward has been very playful nowadays. His napping time has becoming less & less as comparing to last time. Today, this playful boy doesn’t want to sleep at all since in the morning. No matter how I put him to bed, he will wail out his lung to say “NO”. After we are back from Butterworth, I try very hard to put him to nap as I’m really tired. However, he’s uncooperative at all. Therefore, I leave him to my aunty while I take my beauty nap. Since my friends are coming today, surely he doesn’t sleep at all for the whole afternoon. He enjoys getting attention from others so much! I’m sure he’ll be very sleepy later.

Friend's visiting

It has been so long that I do not meet up with my best friends, Sei Lin & Sok Peng ever since after my confinement. All of us are really busy especially both my friends who venture into business after grad. However, it’s really surprise that Sei Lin call me up just now to inform me that she & Sok Peng is going to visit me & my lil prince. They have not met Edward after the confinement.

Edward is very happy and plays around with them by showing off his crawling & sitting skill. This makes my friends laugh for non-stop. My friends even surprise that I manage to feed my son with porridge and get him a change without hazel at all. Honestly to tell my friend, I enjoy the motherhood very much especially when my son showing me with different acts each day. I’m so proud of him. Now, I’m looking to be a full time mummy so I manage to spend more time with him. However, hubby always needs me to help him in his office if I stop working for others.

Sleep between Mummy & Daddy

When we reach home from Auto-City, I faster get Edward a change as he was asleep in the car. He looks so sleepy by on and off open his eyes. Since he has milk already, I directly pat him on my bed & let him sleeping on my bed. I’m sure he likes to sleep with daddy & mummy too. As our bed is king size, it’s very spacious for 3 of to sleep together. I like to sleep with him by smelling his hair & body. It’s really sweet! I love you, Edward!

Ice-ice Baby

It’s Saturday again and this is the time for daddy to bring us go “kai kai”. Edward & mummy are both very happy of it as we can go to Auto-City for delicious food. As normal, we went there after dinner. This time we go to ice-ice Baby. Therefore, we order those light food such as pan cakes, ice-cream, mini pizza & etc. Edward is now able to sit on his own; therefore we can enjoy the food very much! But, grandpa always wanna carry him & play with him. Before we leave, I give Edward a bottle of milk & he finish off very fast. I am the one enjoy the ice-cream very much!

Organic Holle Rolled Oats Porridge & Apple

After a tiring morning in the office, hubby brings me to Fettes Park to have my favourite “kaoy teow soup”. However, I would normally look for dried one as I like the taste of the dark soya source. Then, I ask hubby to bring me to the organic shop in Pulau Tikus market to buy the Holle Rolled Oats Porridge for my lil prince. I always feel that oats is a good for growing up children, therefore I want my son to have it too.(surely mummy wanna give the best to Edward boy!)

Besides buying the organic oats, I buy a packet of of organic apples too as I would like to make apple puree for my son. However, the apple is very expensive! It cost me RM 20+ for 4 pcs of middle size apple. I wish my son love the taste.

Sleeping with mummy

My son normally sleep on his cradle since he was back from confinement centre and I can tell you that he love it so much.(maybe it’s due to the continuously rocking throughout the night) besides that, we adults can sleep without worries too as he will hardly falls from the cradle. However, there is the disadvantage too. How can we travel without cradle if we are going to bring Edward along for holiday?

Yesterday night, when I was sleeping on the bed beside his cradle, he was crying for non-stop no matter how I rock his cradle while patting his bum. Finally, I have no choice but to bring him out from his cradle and pat him under my arm. He fall back to sleep after a few minute. Therefore, I make up my mind to let him sleep with me on the bed for the first time after he born. I find that he love to with us too but one thing is, its lack of space for 3 of us to squeeze in a bed. Anyway, I like it so much! (poor daddy, have to sacrifice most of the space for his lil prince)

Hardly feed Edward with cereal

My mom keeps on complaining that it’s really hard to feed my son with cereal nowadays. He has been very active and wanna run here & there during the cereal time. He love to move his hand, rubbing his face, pushing your hand away or even grab the spoon from you. My mom will normally getting exhausted after each feeding. She feels so tiring!

However I really hope that he can much more obedient when it’s my turn to feed him as due to mummy lack of experience. I will normally sing his favourite song “fun fun time” when I feed him with cereal and he shows me a good response too. He love the song so much!

Message to Edward boy:
Little darling, please don’t be too playful! If not, grandma is not going to look after you anymore. Then, mummy has to send you to babysitter. How pity of boy!

Teething

Ops, finally the day has come! Hooray………….!!!!

I was always thought that why my son is still not yet teething and now flies my worries!

Yeah, my son started teething!

My mom is the one who notice it after back from Island when she wants to apply the oral medicine around his lips & mouth. So so so surprise!

I think this's the reason why my son loves to blow saliva recently. I was so happy & wanna try to touch it . I find out there are two on the top & the bottom. It’s really cute!

Dim sum at Northern Hotel

After the visit to Island Hospital, I feel relief!(especially the doctor says it’s nothing “big” to worry) There only I remember that I did not take breakfast in the morning. (I was too worry until out of appetite) Now, only I realize my tummy is having drums performance. (ping! pong! peng!) ops, I’m so hungry!!!!!

Since I’m not working today, it’ll not be rushing to enjoy my lunch. I plan to bring my mom for dim sum treat in Northern Hotel which is quite near to Island Hospital. I love the dim sum there although there is not much choice. I use to eat dim sum there when I was pregnant with Edward. I order quite a lot of food from the menu. Since there are only 3 adults there, it’s impossible for us to finish it all. My mom comment towards the dim sum is so so only while my maid loves the porridge so much. Edward is still sleeping when we reach there but he wakes up after a while. (maybe he also want to have a taste of his favourite dim sum) we do let him have a taste of the porridge before giving him his cereal. (luckily mummy bring along your bowl & cereal as mummy knows that you surely looking for it) We all enjoy the dim dum while my son enjoys his cereal too!

Kisses around lips

My mom told me that Edward’s lip was having some white spot a few days ago. However, hubby & I don’t take it seriously as it’s only 2 spots. We thought it’ll diminish by itself after a few days time.

Yesterday, my mom ask me to check it again when I back for lunch. To my surprise, it spread into a few more spots. Some even crack & peeling! Luckily Edward doesn’t cry over this. He just shows us with some moody look. (how pity & brave of my boy!) This time, I was so worry. Worry of ,that could be any disease which is harmful to my boy. (oh no, I must be to too passive in thinking) I pray to God to let it heal by itself!

Today, I bring Edward to visit the pead early in the morning. Hubby does not follow as he is really busy. My mom & my maid accompany us along. There are too crowded with parents & children around. It has a long queue before our turn. At first, Edward is very energetic,(looking here and there, jumping up & down without a stop, twist & turn his body, making all sort of noise & etc…….) However, it really took a long time to reach our turn and Edward fall asleep while waiting outside. Therefore, Edward still sleeps when we go inside the doctor’s room. (how sweet of his sleepy face but mummy have to wake you up for the doctor to check over your mouth) Doctor Dan uses a stick to open Edward’s mouth which I feel really painful. (surely Edward feels uncomfortable & try to turn away his face) after checking, the doctor assure me that’s nothing to worry as it maybe cause by over heat or dirtiness.(seems like he can look through my face & read of mind that how worry am I since yesterday) he prescribe with oral medicine which is to apply on my son’s mouth. I wish it's really works & the white spots would diminish after the application.

Soon on vacation

Daddy was working till very late last night. I was waiting for him until 12 something. I’m really sleepy but I miss him so much!(darling, me & Edward really miss you so much)

I was almost asleep when daddy came home. He woke me up by whispered to me. I felt angry when he “kacau” me as I almost blur blur that time. I hate to wake up after falling to sleep. However, I still manage to wake up to accompany him having his dinner.(I usually not agree with him having dinner at 12 midnight. It’s so unhealthy!)

After dinner, hubby wanna me to accompany him for a while. So sudden that he told me that he manage to bring me & Edward to KL on next Public Holiday which fall on Saturday. I’m so happy of it! Finally, he manages to leave his business aside for a few days to accompany us. However, I’m filling with worries too! It’s the 1st time for us to bring Edward for such a long distance trip. We have no experience at all. I’m not sure how to bath him (Edward usually bath by his both paternal or maternal grandma), I’m not sure where to get the clean hot water (I hate to use the boiler provided by the hotel), I’m not sure whether Edward will get use to it when it comes to sleeping time (he fall asleep in the cradle every night), I’m not sure he will cry non-stop during the trip (he is under the care of my mom at most of the time). Arrg……………worries worries worries! (pls get rid of my mind & let me enjoy my trip) it’s better don’t think that much! Everything would be fine when it comes. Right?????

New blender

I have been thinking to get a new blender for preparing Edward’s foods & drinks. However, I’m not sure worth it or not as we have one at home since many years back which we seldom use. I totally feel unhygienic for using the old one as we have been using it to blend chilly & belacan which is smelly yet hot. (I know it sound crazy! The blender is clean & tasteless after washing) but I really don’t like it as I want the best for my baby. For me, everything must be new one for my baby!

Without thinking much after giving myself so much convincing reason to own a new blender, I immediately head to Takashima. (daddy surely say that mummy is wasting his hard earn money again! Sorry, my dear! I know you love Edward too, am I right?) The salesman really has a sweet talk. There is another woman buying the same product as I for preparing her granddaughter’s food. Both of us sharing the same thought & learning every single step that the salesman explains. We feel satisfied with the product as it has many functions too.

I hope it wouldn’t be a waste for owning a new blender. I’m sure I’ll fully utilize it! I want to blend juices & make apple puree for my little darling. Not to forget my big darling as well! (hubs, you are always in my mind too)

“kai kai” lor

Yup, today is Tuesday again! This is the day that daddy will come back earlier than usual! We normally go for durian treat ever since the durian season. However, we did not go for durian today as our fridge still pilled up with a few box of durian.

When daddy is back at around eight something, I urge daddy to bring us go “kai kai” as he promised me & my son yesterday. Daddy faster finishes his dinner & takes his shower, and then we proceed to Tesco. Edward is really too excited that he jumps up & down in the car. We do shop for some groceries there. We couldn’t buy much as we have to take turns carrying Edward. (he does not want to sit still on the trolley which other baby usually do) He looks here & there as if looking for something. However he started feeling sleepy after spending around 1 hour in Tesco. Therefore, we faster made the payment & leave as soon as possible before Edward making any fuss there.

Edward sleep all the way back home & only wake up when I’m trying to give him a change. Before he fell back to sleep, I immediately feed him with milk. (ya, I’m right! he fell asleep while he sucking his milk) damn…..tired, my boy! Have a good night sleep, my lil prince! Mummy love you so much!

Spending time with Edward

Mummy always feel guilty for unable to spend more time with Edward as mummy need to work everyday. I normally feel tired after a day long at work & this really make me feel so bad about it. I have plenty of plans between my son & me, but I hardly fulfill it. I want to teach my son with alphabet & picture but I abandon the plan a few months ago. Only one thing that I never miss is the bed time rhymes! But somehow, I really feel not enough! Therefore, I told myself to spend more time with him from today onwards no matter how tired am i.

Today, after back from office, i play with him & talk to him for the whole night. He seems to understand it & he’s really happy. I carry him here & there, letting him explore on his walker, singing songs, babbling together with him & so on. It’s really fun that he give me a very excited response even at times I may feel sleepy a bit but overall everything is fine. I wish I could do this more often & starts with him with some early learning program. Hopefully, it’s still not too late to do so!

Message to my lil Prince:-

Dear Edward, mummy feels so sorry that unable to coach you with some early learning program. Mummy mostly left you under the care of “kor poh” at night time while mummy only looking around. Mummy promises to spend most of the night time with Edward alone without any help from anybody, ok? At least some of the reading time together to improve your little knowledge!

Bumbo Chair

Mummy has been searching around for the Bumbo Chair in this week after get to know about it from other blogger's mummy. I find it quite nice & useful for those babies who are still not yet expert in the sitting position. It can help to support the back of baby too! Therefore, mummy desperately wants get one for my lil prince who is very new to the sitting skill. I have been to two baby shop in Gurney Plaza but all of them also out of stock! Yet, they told me it’s quite pricy! (mummy doesn’t care. All I want is the best for my precious darling!)

Finally, mummy gets to know that Winsome are selling the Bumbo Chair with 3 colors of choices. There are yellow, light blue & purple. The yellow colour is too bright while the purple one looks more girlish. Therefore mummy get the light blue for my lil prince! The chair looks really cute with an elephant trunk in the middle of the front side. It cost us RM199.00. However, daddy is the one who buy this present for Edward!

Once we get home, we immediately let Edward have a seat on it. However, Edward usually needs to take time for warming up with those new things comes to him. Luckily, he manages to cope with it very well. He likes it too! Maybe it’s really comfortable to sit on it. How good if mummy can get it a try too! Too bad that mummy’s bum is really big to fit in. I’m not sure how long does this chair will last for my son as I dunno whether he still can be fitted inside the chair when he grows bigger. Hopefully not that soon!

Daddy is really excited, he’s even letting Edward sitting the Bumbo Chair on our bed. See, how my hubby spoils my lil prince. Yet, he’s the one keep on reminding me not to spoil Edward.

1st taste of porridge

I never thought to start Edward with porridge so soon as I always thinking of better let him enjoy his cereal until he reach one year old. In my opinion, I felt that he can consume more milk powder with cereal comparing to porridge. However, my SIL told me that Edward may lack of nutrients if only consume cereal & milk alone when she visit me on last week. As according to pead, he also suggest to let Edward start with porridge too. Therefore, I make up my mind to let him a try by this week.

I prepare the ingredients of the porridge such as anchovies on Monday by frying it till fragrance. My SIL told me that anchovies are good for the bones & teeth of the growing up baby, and I agree with it! My auntie is the one who cook the porridge for my son. She cooks it with fish & vegetables (spinach). My mom feed him in the evening and he shows the sign of “liking” to us. He demands for speedy feeding as he like the taste so much. Every one of us is really happy with it as all of the effort worth it out! I hope he’ll continuously show us that he loves to eat as the porridge really full of nutrients which is really good for growing up baby!

Message to my lil prince:-

Edward, how’s is the taste of your porridge? Nice? Yummy? Good?

Mummy hopes that you enjoy it very much! (actually mummy share with you with the left over portion in the slow cooker as “kor poh” really cook a bit pot for you) Mummy like the taste too!Daddy told me just now that he don't mind to share with you too! Wow, your porridge must be very good to taste which can attract your daddy.

Pizza Hut

Its Saturday night again! It’s a good time for me & Edward to go “kai kai” as daddy mostly free on this day. No matter how busy is daddy, he still manage to bring us for outing at night which is most probably at Auto City. My PIL have wedding dinner tonight, therefore they don’t follow us today. Since MIL is not cooking tonight, we surely have to eat outside! (that’s what I’m looking for!)

I ask hubby to go for Pizza as the voucher of Edward’s full moon still left with a few pieces. I would like to utilize it as it’s soon to expire by end of this month. It’s really crowded in the restaurant as its Saturday that most people eating outside. Anyhow, we manage to get a table there after waiting for a few minutes. Hubby & I order quite a lot of food including two pizza, lagsania, chicken wings, soup, bread stick, garlic bread & etc. Somehow there are only 3 of us including my maid.(excluding my lil prince) they serve the food really fast! The waitress give my son a plastic plate which keep him occupy through the dinner. He really enjoy playing with the plate by passing from one hand to another but there are a few times that daddy or mummy have to pick it up from the floor.(thanks to the waitress!) There mummy & daddy really enjoy the food so much! My maid can eat with peace of mind too. Hubby feeds Edward with the chicken soup & the cheese from the lagsania too! That’s really make Edward happy through out the night! He keeps on smiling & looking around when we are having our dinner. There’s one lady sitting beside our table smile with my son & that make my son babbling with her too. Overall, my son behaves very well the night!

Three of us finish all the food on the table and end up we need to get a stroll to burn out all the fat taken from the food. Yet, it’s a good reason for mummy to shop around the store there. They sell a lot of nice jewelry & hair accessories there. How good if my hair is long enough to put on those beautiful hair accessories. (mummy trim the long hair when pregnant with Edward) therefore, end up buying nothing but it’s good to look around too!

Edward sleep all the way back home & I only wake him up when we reach home as mummy wanna change him with pyjamas & feed him with milk before his beauty sleep.

First ever photo shot in studio

Edward is really excited when I told him that I’m going to bring him for photo shooting tonight. I’m not sure whether he understand or not but he was too excited until do not taking any nap since morning till evening. (he usually taking nap twice a day in the morning & afternoon)

By the time I reach home & rushing to get him ready for the photo shooting session, he looks so tired & keeps on making all sort of noises. It’s really hard to put on his clothes especially when he’s twist & turn his body and yelling for no reason. However, my mom manages to get everything ready! Phew!

When we were in the studio there, the photographer told us that the shooting session should not start that soon. He wants to give Edward some time for warming up 1st. However, I really “kan cheong” as Edward look so sleepy already. Luckily it doesn’t take that long! The photographer is advising me to stay close to Edward by taking good care of his balancing. I wonder am I also been taken in the photo. He takes quite a lot of shooting from different ankle but only hard to get my son smiley face. He stays cool at most of the time with only a few smiley looks. The photographer told me that Edward is “catching fish” in the middle of session. :p This must be that he doesn’t want to sleep for the whole day!

After shooting, I immediately view all those pictures taken just now. That’s so call technology! Although those photo doesn’t look really nice, but I want all of it. That what my baby 1st ever photo shooting in the studio! I really treasure it so much! It may not look nice but it’s an experience & memory for my son. I’m planning to bring him for another photo shooting in the studio when he reaches 1 year old.

More new clothes for Edward

I’m always wanted to buy more new clothes for Edward even there are plenty in his wardrobe as mummy wanna his son to look handsome in everyday. Therefore, it’s really hard to stop my itchy hand away from buying those nice clothes from baby shop & shopping mall.

Since mummy is quite free today, I plan to bring Edward to the newly open baby shop after dinner. Surely, Edward is very excited! (not because of new clothes but he can go “kai kai”) He loves “kai kai” very much! He will jump up & down when we mention to him about “kai kai”. How smart of kids nowadays!

We enter the shop & found that they do sell Disney cartoon character products. The shop is not very big but they offer quite a few ranges of products. Of course, I’m much more interested on those nice clothing hanging there! I buy quite a lot of clothes for my little darling. I also grab the feeding teats of Avent as that’s the one which I hardly get in shopping mall or even direct from the distributor. Surely, I take a few instead of one or two. Besides that, I buy 2 nice clothes of Pooh Bear for my nephew too! Hopefully he loves it! Edward enjoys looking around while mummy shops a lot, but “kor poh” is the one carrying Edward until out of strength! I never thought that those clothes end up cost me more than RM600. Ops, poor daddy have to pay for it again!

What a busy day?

I was really exhausted in this month especially today as I need to help hubby in finalizing his company’s account due to submission of tax in end of this month. Since I’m not working with hubby, I seldom update his account that frequently. Therefore, a lot of work has been piling up on the desk waiting for me to finish it. However, my son, little Edward was really super clingy towards me that makes me hardly complete my job within the time frame given by my tax agent as she need to do the taxation part for me. What to do ar? Mummy has to burn midnight oil lor! I started doing my work after tucking him to bed which is almost 10.30pm yesterday. Oh no, my skin must look terrible without enough beauty sleep! I must finish it by today & let myself to get enough rest after these busy days. Its really pitiful of daddy has to work till very late every night yet still helping me feeding my little darling. I tell myself to love & care for him more as he really scarifies a lot to this family! He’s really a good husband to me while a good daddy to Edward. I’m always proud of my hubby! I love you, big darling!

Super clingy to mummy

Edward seems to super clingy towards me as if there is glue within us nowadays. When I’m out of his sight, he’ll make all kind of noise to get my attention. This is really hard when I’m trying to do my own things. I try to leave him under the care of my aunty when we are back from Butterworth as I need to get myself a nap before his next feeding of cereal. However, it’s really hard for my aunty to handle him as he making the noise for non-stop, twist & turn his body, yelling & etc….., just wanna get me to attend to him. But, this lazy mummy still gets a nap in the other room as I feel safe when he is under the care of my aunty. I was wondering what if I’m away for 2nd honeymoon with hubby? I think that must be quite impossible within this few years.

My favourite Cheese Cake

Every time when I’m having buffet in hotels, what I’m truly looking for is the desert as they really serve with varieties of yummy cakes, pastry & etc……that’s really attractive!(how am I going to slim down if I can’t stop myself from all these tempting food?gosh……..)
As usual, my all time favourite still the cheese cake that I never missed out each time having buffet in hotel. Hubby gets a slice of cheese cake for Edward when we are trying to make him sit still on the baby seat. Surely my son will not be able to finish it. Therefore, I must be the “big helper” to finish up the cheese cake. (it’s really a waste if couldn’t finish it, bleh blek bla……..) On top of that, I manage to eat another piece of cheese cake without sharing with anybody. (damn good!!!!) I miss you like crazy…….opps, it’s cheese cake!

Fathers Day Celebration at E&O

I’m just back from celebrating Fathers’ Day at E & O hotel. It’s such a good place for celebration as they serve with varieties of international food together with free flow of wine & beer.

We arrive there quite early, but to my surprise, it’s full of guests already! We went there together with my in-laws too as my hubby wanna treats his dad’s with nice dinner. (this’ll always make me thinking of my father! How if he’s still alive? i think I’ll never miss to celebrate with him. I miss my dad so much!) Edward is behaving well too but he reluctant to sit on the high chair (he made his crying face when he was sitting facing the “ang moh”. Maybe he feels scary of the “ang moh”), therefore we have to take turns to carry him. He enjoys his milky time at the lobby there as there is less noise there. Edward does enjoy the cheese cake too!

After paying the bill, hubby & my FIL get the mug of E&O each. It’s not bad too as there are a little present for the fathers. I think I’ll treat hubby a nice dinner for this Fathers’ Day as I really have no idea on what to buy for him. Hopefully, he is happy with it!

At least, Edward is the best present for him in this year! Hooray……………!

Waiting for daddy

Today we are not going back to Butterworth as mummy has to work tomorrow. That’s what I hate most. Furthermore, tomorrow is Father’s Day! I’m wondering how if I’m not working tomorrow. geee…….. better don’t dream that early………….slap slap slap…..

Hubby is going to have durian with his customer at Uncle Peng Siew’s farm after work. Therefore, daddy will not be home early for his dinner. (mummy & Edward miss daddy so much)!

Edward was a bit out of mood, he doesn’t want to play & frequently make noise in his walker. I wonder why he behaves like this as he seldom shows this before. However, mummy’s trying to make all sorts of funny face to cheer up my little darling. Around 9.30pm, we get Edward a change. Then, it’ll normally proceed to milking time. After having his milk, we try to put him into his cradle. But, he doesn’t want to sleep at all. He wails out his lung again & again! Therefore, I have no choice but to carry him out from the cradle. I saw him looking to the door where my hubby hang his clothes, there only I know this little fella miss his daddy so much! oh, poor baby! (your daddy always busy with work that makes you hardly see him but the bond between two of you are so strong)

When daddy calling home to inform me that he’s going to be late as he need to send his customer back, I tell him the whole incidents. I tell my poor Edward that he must sleep 1st while waiting for daddy. I’m doing the same as before by bringing him to his daddy’s clothes & let him get the smell of it. After awhile, there only he’s willing to sleep. If not, mummy still cannot update my blog right now!

Another message to daddy:-

Your son really misses you! I think you better get yourself a day free to accompany your son if you really love him. Weekend itself is no longer enough for your little demander!

Friends gathering

It has been so long that mummy did not meet up with my old days’ friends. We don’t even chatting through msn or through phone. There’s no e-mail between mummy & friends too. Maybe mummy just too busy with my daily life especially after Edward came into this world. I think the last time I meet up with them were during my wedding, i.e., end of year 2006. Wow, so long ago!

Actually this is how the gathering happened in place. Aunty Phaik Suan was online yesterday. Mummy asks her through msn whether she is free to meet up as we have almost lost of contact. Then, she is the one to arrange for the gathering by inviting other of my old buddies to come along. It’s so unexpected that most of them are ok for the gathering as the time really suits everybody. Good, thumbs up! Honestly mummy so excited, wondering how are them these days. Before the day, mummy try to recall back every sweet memory during our school days. We are really happy that time! Now, the day has come………..

da.....…..da…….da……..dang………….

Aunty Phaik Suan is the one who’s the 1st arrived waiting for us outside the Sushi King. Then, mummy gets the second. Therefore, mummy & Aunty Phaik Suan enjoying food 1st without waiting for others to come as it’s really weird without eating inside the shop. Then, Aunty Seng Tee came. Subsequently, here come Aunty Shuh Jiun & the last of the last, Aunty Ai Lun. They all really are doing well in their life. Aunty Ai Lun & Aunty Seng Tee are just like a corporate lady while Aunty Shuh Jiun still the sweetest among all. Not forget to mention, Aunty Phaik Suan has change to be more feminine than ever. I’m so happy that everybody leading such a wonderful lifestyle. We all have such a never ending compliment within each other. Honestly, everyone are really good & turning to another stages if life. Hopefully we all can meet each other that often in future.

Happy Gathering!!!!!

It’s Haagen Dazz time again!!!!!

Mummy is the one who always thinking about Haagen Dazz, as mummy cannot resist the smooth & creamy ice-cream with chocolate! Since daddy will be late for dinner tonight, why not mummy brings my lil prince with my aunty for the ice-cream treats? Yet, my aunty is the chocolate lovers too. (so long that I din bring my aunty for any special treats)

There’s drizzling outside but I still insist to go there but we are very lucky as the rain stop when we reach there. (I pray so hard for the rain to stop in the car) I’m surely order my favourite chocolate dip even there are two of us only. (never mind lar, mummy & kor poh sure can finish it) My son gets very excited when he looks on those ice-cream displays in the counter. He jumped up & down for non-stop when we get ourselves a seat there. Too poor that the baby chair is too big, therefore I have to carry him while enjoying my favourite yummy ice-cream. Even my aunty is willing to take turns for carrying Edward but I insist of carry him by myself as I want my aunty to fully enjoy her ice-cream.

It’s really nice to bring Edward out so he may not feel shy when meets with stranger, yet he can explore with new things that comes to him. Happy Haagen Dazz Day!!!!

ABC soup

My aunty so eager to cook for my son the ABC soup after learning that Edward love her soup so much yesterday. She purposely prepares it for him & sure we are going to have it too for lunch & dinner because it’s such a big pot. I mash the potatoes with the soup & feed him while I having my lunch too. (Edward is on the high chair, having his soup together with us at the dining hall). To his kor poh disappointment, he only takes a few spoons only. Do you know why? Heheheeeeeee………the durian is on the table that’s really attracting him! I think my son fell in love with durian already! He is much more preferred durian then his kor poh ABC soup. Durian……ya ……durian, that’s why you are the King of fruits!

My 1st hundred post!!!

Wow, it has been 100 posts that published in my blog! I never though I can write that much in the beginning, somehow I do it. Yes, I do it! I do it just because of my lil prince! (my precious baby Edward)

It’s really impressed when I go through other’s blog especially those blogger mummies! They write every milestone of their children, their daily life & even share with us their cooking skill on their blog. They are really super!

Anyhow, I will keep on blogging even I never write any paid post. As for me, I’m just blogging for fun! I just wanna jot down everything of my lil prince & our daily lifestyle so Edward will be able to read through when he grown up. I hope my son will appreciate it as this is a special present for him. Mummy does not want to miss out anything about him when mummy is old. I wish I can still remember during my old days, if not there are always a back-up for me, i.e., My Blog! I can always view through when I miss it.

First trial – soup & durian

When I’m back for lunch in this afternoon, my lil prince just finished his yummy cereal. He was wandering around the house while playing with his limited toys. (we seldom buy him toys) while I having my lunch, he come close to me as if demand for something without blinking his eyes. Mummy surely knows what he wants!

This little fella never miss out when it comes to food ever since he first started with solid food. He will approach you when he saw you with foods or drinks (even with a cup or bowl too) Since we are having soup for lunch, it’s no harm to let him a try and he like it so much! I feed him with a few spoon until my mom stop me from doing so as Edward just taken his cereal.

After we are back from the durian farm, daddy urges me to feed Edward with durian. It’s good to let him a taste of our favourites! Edward tastes it before somehow in last month & he shows us that he likes it. To my surprise, this little cranky is chasing me over to the kitchen by his walker after I stop feeding him. (I was washing my hand there) Can you imagine how fast he walks towards the kitchen? He cries when he looks at me & I know he demands for the durian. He cries non-stop when he see me standing there. Finally, daddy is the one who feed him with another round of durian. (see, all of us spoil him even we tell each other not to spoil him) hahaha………..we all love him what!
